A Cornishman who sexually abused teenagers for two decades is waking up to twelve years in jail.

Keith Rounsevell from Camels at Veryan was convicted of ten charges at Truro Crown Court.

A judge heard how the childrens' parents thought they were doing odd jobs to earn pocket money.

The fifty year old is on the sex offenders register for life.

Fuel subsidy for fishermen

A fairer deal for our fishermen.

Those are the calls from local Tories as some EU countries decide to give their fleets a fuel subsidy.

The Spanish are have already done it. Owners there get nearly 25 thousand pounds over three years to help out with rising costs.

The French are trying to do something similar.

That means Cornish fishermen will end up nearly a grand out of pocket each year.

The message from skin cancer experts in the Duchy running a drop in mole clinc today.

It is being held at Treliske in case we notice any changes after being out in the sun.

There will be advice on what risks there are and what else we can do to protect ourselves, other than slapping on the sun cream.

It is revealed hundreds of Cornish parents are not protecting their kids from the sun.

A survey says one in ten across the south-west does not bother to put cream on their children.

The Sun Sense for Life report also claims many who do are still using lower than factor fifty.

That is the minimum doctors recommend for under twelves who do not have dark skin.

Work is getting underway to get Cornish aid to cyclone victims in Burma.

Two hundred Shelterboxes packed in Helston have arrived in the capital, Rangoon.

But now the four man team have a massive challenge to get them to the homeless.

It is because the country's roads and rail network have been destroyed by the winds and tidal wave.
